Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain, and a path for the thunderstorm Job 38:25

As if I needed reminding!  But this is where my bible fell open this morning.  Spoken to a man who had lost absolutely everything & had no desire to continue living.  He asked for an explanation & God gave it to him!  Bottom line: God calls the shots.  How we bear up in the face of adversity, hardship, undeserved loss is our witness & a testimony to an unbelieving world that no matter how it seems or what devestation overtakes us, God is good.

Yes, I know you know that but it is good to have a reminder now & then.

lol Just passin' it along, Ruby. Are you drying out yet?

We are! But my SIL went to check out their place yesterday and still water half way up the steps :-( The cleanup here will be long and slow.
I can see God's hand in so many things which have transpired these last few weeks, along with the rain itself.

Aligned with this, my husband's answer was simply not to worry and to not be afraid, but just to trust in Him and do the best he can with what has been provided for him at all times, which includes the bad as well as the good...although it all serves the Lord when do this and it all things work towards the good, even if we cannot see it at the time.

Ruby: Do hope you will blog about the *Hand of God* because I think we all need to keep the big picture in mind ~ especially if we have been on the recieving end of what's happened. It is so hard no to lose the plot when you loose so much.

Seeking: Liddy should be home Tues & we will arrange a Skype session. Lots to catch up on. I should e~mail but my brain is just not working at present. Think I am about to study Haggai ~ directed there after this morning's pointed little reminder. Looking forward to it. Had a brief visit this morning & lots for me to get my teeth into! ♥

Skyping on Tuesday works for me, as far as I know. I have to get my husband to the airport in the morning I think but you should be sleeping I just hope my strength is fully back then. This flu has long lingering effects that just zap my energy, although the Princess seems to have recovered, except for the cough when she gets too active. I have not felt like writing or even talking on the phone--if I could afford to just call you, you would know how unbelievable that would sound, as I tend to rather call than write when I have the opportunity to do so.

Julie: you're welcome. ☺

Seeking: no skyping Tues; Lid won't be back till late.

I am reading Job, not a Book I have taken much notice of in the past, but I think now is the right time to read it. I love the verse you selected , because yes, God knows all and in complete control of that goes on. We may not understand why these floods have happened, but God does and it isn't my place to question His reasons.
