Riding: the art of keeping a horse between you & the ground ~
or in Star's case, a quad.  I can't believe they let her loose on the thing but this is how farm kids learn to drive early.  Feed supplement on its way to the alpacas ~ & I believe she cooked last night as well.  Nope.  Not letting her loose in the car just yet.  Maybe not ever.  I've driven with her, remember...?

She & Liddy come home tomorrow.  What a shock to the system that will be!

Oo-oo! This is where I get to do that grandparent guilt trip stuff:

The children of this generation just have it too easy! We never had quads!

Honestly, my grandfather was carrying blocks of ice with huge tongs from the truck often up several steps into the homes when he was just a bit older than Star...when most folks still use ice boxes rather than refrigerators!

The quad is one of the great attractions to my boys when we go to the farm!

Jeanne: & you're a country gir! ☺ Are you back or long distance visiting?

Seeking: Go for it ~ if you think the girl would believe you! Out west they muster on bikes & with helicopters.

Ruby: Yeah, that I'd believe! My kids love them too.

She seems to be having a wonderful time! Your house will be noisy and active again. Tell the cats to hang on.

MrsC: I think Liddy is sick so not sure how much chatting she will be up for but if you saw any of the Facebook stuff Star really is a ditz & seems to have spent her entire time being outrageously funny. Very outrageous ~ but there was no~one to see till Liddy started posting. lol

Sandra: I hope she had a good time. I expect so. Star doesn't have great expectations. The cats will be pleased. They hate the girls being away ~ & yes, it is going to be very noisy!
