I have not failed.  I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. ~ Thomas Edison

We have not been busier than usual, just busy in different ways.Theo, who is changing jobs [not location just the restaurant he works in] landed for a week .  It is pouring.  We are supposed to be tidying up our end of term work.  I am trying to get a muffler fixed.  Dearest's little ebay business decided to take a sudden unexpected Ka~boom ~ which means more paper work for the staff [me] & we all have a sort of cold with sniffles & things.  I am too tired to think straight.  I am too tired to think much of anything at all.

I am looking forward to the end of this year.  Both Star & I are over the school thing ~ not learning, just the whole you have to do this because stuff.  Too stupid.  Unnecessary.  Pointless.  And in the long run none of it matters.  Truly.

All I want to do is cuddle my cats.  There is something very therapeutic about cuddling a cat.  It must be in the purr.  It rumbles all the way down into your soul.  So that is what I am going to do.

Our youngest daughter Sara was just saying recently how much comfort our schnauzers bring to her, so I understand your cat thing. Animals can do so much for us from just their presence! Hoping all feel better soon....xxoo

And drink tea. Tea works as well. I miss my doggie though. We are searching for another. Homes are so much happier with animals.

The end of the year will be here before you know it.

Jeanne: No, not tea. Tea makes me sick. ☺ Yes, I think you need another doggie. A cat would be better but I understand. In all honesty, Star is too busy with music for school. It is just getting harder & harder so I a pleased this is our last year.

Julie: Ah, my friend! I know you understand the wonderful power of pussies.

I will have that tea. ;)

I hope you all are feeling better soon. I am still rather sore but the spasms have stopped finally...so it seems...I hope, anyway.

Ganeida, you so brighten my day! I have just come from your later post....yes, the one where you are very vocal on the subject of home schooling v public... to find that earlier in the day, or perhaps last night you were exhausted. You seem to live at this fabulous, whirling speed!
And oh, is it really time to send in end of term work? I am not good at keeping up with all the dates. We have a workshop next Wednesday so I had better look as though I am up to speed!
It will be hard for Star to focus on mundane schooly things when she is already involved in what her heart is set on. Not long now!

Seeking: Ta. Tea's all yours! ☺

Ruby:Yes, it is that time! ☺ And you have pegged Star's problem exactly. She is ready to move on to where her heart is!

Cuddling cats is such a wonderful activity, especially when they start to purr. My Ruby has started to sleep in the bathtub - no idea why. I have folded a towel for her to lie on as it can get cold lying on bare bath.Perhaps she feels safe. Strange creatures! On hot days she rolls around in the tub, which must feel very smooth and cool.

Jo: Indeed. You are a woman after my own heart. ☺
