The cushions look like fun. How wonderful and you can find a quote for any topic. I really enjoy that! My daughters are doing a lot of sewing and crafts this spring as well. One of them adores it and the other....well.....shoots me very dark looks! Have fun! Jan Lyn
Diane: I have a confession ~ Liddy was just hiding from the camera, but it makes a better story my way.
Jan Lyn: lol ~ there are plenty of good quote sites. I just type in what I want & up they all come! :) I seriously need subjects Ditz will do. Math is just a no go zone. If it was up to me we'd ditch it now. The child can add & subtract & multiply ~ mostly more accurately that I can. Anything else is just frosting her cake.
MamaO: you are excuse anything for the next 9 or so months! Silence is golden & I am happy to sit in companionable silence with you. :D
I always seem to be wearing bright cloths in any photos on your blog mum ? ? ? Yeppo defin hiding from the camera.... As for the sewing it seems as though I can't get things to fit me, my point being is if I can get something to even look a little like its supposed to I'm doing alrite, I can fine tune things later ie getting items to fit :-D
I love the photo of Liddy at the machine! That is sooooo ME!!! I was making a t-shirt for daughter's doll and I must've ripped the stitches out a thousand times. The material was so wrecked by the time I finished that I actually threw the dumb thing away. I am NOT a sewer - but I love the idea and I do try. I don't have the know-how to teach my girls (nor the patience either).
MrsHojo, you are one funny lady! Careful you don't cut yourself on that wit, now.
Homeschool4Christ: You have a man who will cut out?! Send him on over!
Seeking: I am too impatient & hit'n'miss to sew well.
Britwife: I tried to convince the girls to ask my mum for lessons. She is a lovely seamstress but a terrible perfectionist & they both refused point blank to even consider it. All I could think as I watched Liddy rip tear & bust was how many kittens mum'd have if she could see what I did!
Lobstar@ Practise makes perfect. In your case it may also be expensive...;P

Still reading... Maybe next week I'll be able to think. Oh, wait; I'm busy next week. Oh well, companionable silence, okay?

Hi Ganeida,
I love sewing, and I hate cutting out, but my husband does all of the cutting out - YAY!
I like cutting and I like actual sewing, but the pinning is a bore!
