From my garden to my plate.

It's a guy thing to plant vegetables in your front flower bed, but then again,  it's also a guy thing to put them out back in a big rectangle.  It's a little radical to put them in front, a statement that you can do whatever you want in your own damn yard.~ Warren Schultz

I went out to pick some baby silverbeet for dinner because I had some lemon & there's nothing yummier than sliverbeet drenched in lemon juice with a twist of cracked pepper.  Obviously I need to pay more attention.  Not only did I have silverbeet I had cucumbers & butter beans.

Straight from the garden to my plate!  They taste like veggies should!
All the rain means my veggies are flourishing.  God is good.  I just have to remember to pick every day.

Yummo! I agree ... that's how veggies should taste.
Your butter beans look scrumptious. :)

oh, can I come over for dinner to your place please? :) I love the look of those veggies!

alecat: beans are one of our favourites & these were very scrumptious.

joyfulmum: any time ~ if we're here. ☺ I have already started giving away the excess.

Thanks for the suggestion with the lemon, I assume I could do it with spinach. Beans look great.

Hey ho, Ganeida!
You are back to your gorgeous old header.

Will catch up soon.

Now that looks good enough to eat!

Jo: yes, it works well with proper sinach too.

Ruby: Um, this is the newer header. I started with the LTTRs one but I like this too for different reasons & now sorta alternate depending on my mood.

Sandra: It was. I hope this means you are feeling more yourself. It is fairly insane here just now but you are not forgotten.

I thought you said you were not a foodie person. That looks about as good as you can get - and I've been slaving over a hot stove all day.

I almost cannot wait until spring! We have plenty of "ready to use fertilizer" from the rabbits accumulating now, so I should have a nice veggie garden soon.

Oh, my goodness! What a lovely sight! A real encouragement - our gardens are bare pactches of frozen earth right now. Your photos give me hope!
