The people have spoken...Julia Gillard.
I can't resist. I just have to crow on my own dunghill....& open Pandora's box...
Dearest & I were discussing the election on Friday ~ unusual in itself; I am the most politically uninterested person I know, holding firmly to the opinion that it doesn't matter who you vote for, a politician always gets in. This was a particularly uninspiring lot of pollies. Who to vote for when one stabbed her leader in the back, claims atheism & lives with lover~boy or the chappie who thinks his biceps are his brains? I was so totally disgusted...

Anyhooo...whilst trying to decide how to register a protest vote without actually implementing the donkey I ventured the opinion that Sunday would see a hung government. Dearest told me in no uncertain terms that that was not about to happen & lookee see; a hung government!

Can I say? very quietly; I told you so...

dancing a little jig here..

haha! I agree with what you have written Ganeida (yep, I know again!).

So, is it still undecided at the moment? See how much I care, I haven't bothered to check the news lol.

I so love that my first vote was part of a hung government! It shows how much faith the Aus public have in their leaders atm... It should work better for the people having neither liberal or labour dominant in parliment! O did you see the Aus Sex Party on the voting sheet??? I laughed so hard, couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing!

Shame, woman, shame!!!!! (How we love to be right!)
The leaders have their own Automatic Teller Machine? (Sorry, I am feeling silly this morning!)

Now, now, Ganeida, gloating (a bit) when I am right, that is my thing, to my husband's exasperation...yet it happens so infrequently, as he is the one usually right, that I think he should be just a bit more tolerant when the mirror is put in front of own face...of course, he will not dance a jig, like I will do, but that is his loss.

I don't know much about your politics there, but I do stay in tune with ours here. Politics are enough to make someone wonder if God is really in control while also being enough to drive a person to pray that He is.

Seeking: Count your blessings. Our politics just now are insane. Embarrassing really...

Politicians belong to a different species to the rest of us - none of us would want to hear our own voice all the time, appear on TV and think they have something worth saying to the whole country and that we want to hear it. We lead normal lives, they don't.

Jo: This time I wish they had something to say. So much waffle & not a solid idea amongst the lot of them! UGH!!!!
