There isn't a child who hasn't gone out into the brave new world who eventualy doesn't return to the old homestead carrying a bundle of dirty clothes. Art Buchwald.

This week Liddy is farming alpacas. All I know about alpacas is that they spit ~like camels & llamas. I'm not keen on animals that spit. The cats drool & that is quite bad enough.

I know she doesn't want to live in Sydney. Can't think why. Alpacas will make a nice change of pace. We are missing her...but it is warmer where we are. Lots warmer. Somewhere it is snowing but that somewhere is not here. Here the sun is shinning in a blue, blue sky & the cats are madly chasing each other through the garden. It is very pleasant & I am off to join the cats in the sunshine.

My cat does not drool, although that does not make up for all the other things he does do!

I hope Liddy is enjoying it! I love alpacas! They are said to spit far less than their cousins and when they do it us usually at another alpaca, but I am sure their are a few, who are "equal opportunity" spitters, so to speak.

I know nothing of alpacas, other than what they are. I do Liddy will probably return with laundry.

Probablly, no I can say returning with laundry is an almost definet!!! Shrugs, shuch is life although I do know how to use a washing machine :) Alpaca's are def not like Lama's in regards to spitting. Actually them and spitting has a very interesting tale attached. I'll have to sit down one time and write it out!!

We live in an area that has 2 alpaca farms. They are really interesting creatures. When I think of all the intruiguing animals God has given us, I always come to the conclusion that He has a really great sense of humor!

I hope Liddy enjoyed her week.
