How do they Know?

Yesterday Dearest dropped Dino & I to our boat because he needed the island car.  While we understand the necessity it is not something that makes either Dino or I happy.  By the time we hit the island we are tired & hungry & in serious need of caffeine.  Waiting even that extra few minutes for Dearest to get down to the jetty can seem like an eternity BUT...

Recently Dearest has been there waiting for us as we've walked down the jetty & headed to the phone box.  Lucky guess?  Nope.  Apparently Kirby & Marlow know when we've hit the Ws & go berko.  Dearest knows we're on that boat & heads on down.  Seriously?  We could be on any one of 3 or 4 boats but the cats haven't got it wrong yet!  And they know Star & I too ~ though Star & I are generally far more predictable.

How do they know?

I could explain it to you, but then cats everywhere would be out to get me for telling the secret. ;)

I don't know how they know, but I'll bet someday we'll see just how much animals understood and heard and saw and felt.... xxoo

lol Seeking. That Jamie McMuffin of yours would take you out!

Julie Indeed. There's a reason we got told to preach the gospel to every creature. They know so much more than we give them credit for...

Amazing but I am not surprised! My dog and cat (from single days) using to run in to my bedside just BEFORE my alarm went off! It didn't have to be the same time either, that amazed me.
Hope all is going well. Have a lovely sunshiny weekend.

Ruby knows when I'm on my way home from work and is almost always waiting on the table looking out the window.

Animals have instinct - gift from God. For example, my dog very quickly knows, when I have infection - sometimes better than doctors :)

Cats amaze me with their abilities in that matter. My first cat of my very own, Boodles, was amazing at knowing when I would be home, and instead of waiting at the door for me, he would be on my bed sitting pretty as ever waiting for my attention while I got out of my Chef's coat. Glad your guys are so great at telling dearest when to go and get you from the boat.
